Step-by-Step: How to Create a Result Post for Your Club
After the match, it’s time to share the result — and the result post is usually the most viewed post of the entire week.
With Spieltag.Studio, you can create it in seconds: clean, professional, and perfectly in your club design.
In this guide, I’ll show you step by step how to create your result post.
Prefer a quick overview of the tool itself first? See the Football Result Graphic Maker page.
1. Open the Result Editor
After logging in, go to the left sidebar and click:
👉 Create → Result
This opens the workflow for your result graphic.
2. Select Your Matchday
To create a result post, a Matchday post must already exist.
The result editor is directly linked to a previously created matchday.
This means:
- You can only create results for matches with an existing Matchday post
- Opponent, date, time, competition and venue are automatically carried over
- You don’t have to enter anything again
ℹ️ Note:
Without an existing Matchday post, creating a result post is not possible.
3. Enter the Score / Add Goalscorers
Now comes the most important part: the final score.
- Home goals
- Away goals
To add more detail, you can enter goalscorers:
- Player name
- Minute
- Multiple entries possible
- Automatically displayed in the template
💡 Tip:
Fans LOVE to know who scored — adding scorers boosts engagement and saves you comments like “Who scored?”.
Example:

4. Adjust Logos, Sponsors and Player Images
These elements are automatically imported from your Matchday post:
- Home club logo
- Opponent logo
- Sponsor logo
- Player image
If needed, you can modify them:
- Replace the sponsor logo
- Change or remove the player image
Everything is automatically scaled and positioned correctly.
💡 Tip:
Two AI tools are available for the player image: remove the background (cutout) or replace it entirely with a new scene. Learn more in our article Remove or Replace Backgrounds with AI.
5. Customize the Design
This is where you fine-tune the visual style.
Available design options depend on which template you choose:
If you’re using the Result Overlay
The overlay keeps things intentionally simple so the Matchday design stays intact.
You can adjust:
- Final score
- Text color
Example (Overlay):

If you’re using a dedicated Result Template
Depending on the chosen template, you can adjust much more:
- Primary & secondary colors (gradient)
- Color intensity / background opacity
- Automatic or manual text colors
- Template variants
- Background graphics or textures
- Borders, outlines & layout details
💡 Note:
Not all templates offer the same options — Spieltag.Studio automatically shows only settings that apply to the selected layout.
Example (new template):

6. Export Your Graphic
When everything looks right, hit:
👉 Export
Your result graphic is generated in perfect Instagram quality:
- PNG
- 1080×1080 or
- 1080×1350
💡 Tip:
Post the result within 30–60 minutes after full-time for maximum reach while the match is still fresh.
