Import your fussball.de schedule directly
Most German amateur clubs already have their entire schedule in one place: fussball.de. Instead of manually copying fixtures into a CSV file, you can upload the fussball.de PDF export directly in Spieltag.Studio — dates, opponents and venue addresses are read automatically.
You'll find this under Schedule → Import schedule, button "Import fussball.de schedule (PDF)".
1. Save your fussball.de schedule as a PDF
On your team's fussball.de page:
- Filter the schedule as usual (season, competition).
- Use your browser's print function and choose "Save as PDF" instead of printing on a real printer.
- Save the PDF file somewhere you can upload it right away.
📌 The fussball.de mobile app doesn't currently offer a print function — the detour via the website in a browser is necessary.
2. Select a team and upload the file
Just like the CSV import, you first select the team the schedule belongs to — the fussball.de import also always applies to one team at a time, exactly like the PDF file itself only contains one team's schedule.
Then click "Import fussball.de schedule (PDF)" and pick the saved file.
3. What happens behind the scenes
An AI reads every page of the PDF like a human would: date, time, home and away team, competition, venue and address. "Bye" entries (no match that day) are recognized and skipped automatically.
Spieltag.Studio figures out which of the two teams per row is "your" club by noticing that the same name appears in (almost) every row of the schedule — the other name is the opponent.
4. Review the preview carefully
Since an AI is reading the document rather than parsing a fixed table, occasional small reading mistakes can happen — e.g. a swapped letter in a club name. That's why the preview before the actual import matters even more here:
- Date and opponent can be clicked and corrected directly in the preview if you spot a reading mistake.
- A checkbox per row (checked by default) lets you exclude individual matches from the import.
- Known opponents (green) automatically get their logo and address applied from your existing history.
Please go through the list once before clicking "Confirm import" — just like with the CSV import, nothing is saved beforehand.
5. Create new matches or update existing ones
Just like the CSV import, both import modes are available:
- Create new matches — for a season's first import.
- Update existing matches — if your league moves a date and you re-upload the updated fussball.de schedule.
6. Free and Pro plans
The fussball.de PDF import is a Pro feature (Pro plan and above, unlimited use) — since an AI reads the pages behind the scenes, each import has a real cost attached. The CSV import remains unaffected and stays available on the Free plan (one-time, up to 15 matches).
